Workshop on New National Educational Policy and Leadership



Attended State level Workshop on "New National Educational Policy and Leadership" on 15- Jun 2022.

In session 1 we had Dr. H. Deepa, delivering lecture on "Leadership". She talked about some definitions of Leadership and explained details of the characteristics of a leader. Some of the few important character a Leader should have is : commitment, decisive, kindness, Spirit of Togetherness, Communication skills and Self-Awareness. She explained with enthusiasm how each of this qualities are used by a great letter, using her colourful and picturesque Presentation. It was an interesting session and have kept us all entertained as well as well-informed. 

In session 2 we had Dr. H. Deepa, delivering lecture on "New National Educational Policy". He started off with giving the history of education policies brought froth by our government to improve education in India. He explained the need for amendment in the Education system to meet the needs of the younger generation. In the new education policy we have 5+3+3+4 method. They form four stages of school education. He warned us to be prepared to accept the New Educational policy along with it competencies.

1. Foundational Stage - 5 Years

Age 3 to 6: 3 Years (Anganwadi/Pre-school/Balvatika) 

Age 6 to 8: 2 Years (Class 1 & Class 2)

2. Preparatory Stage - 3 Years 

Age 8 to 11: Class 3 to Class 5

3.  Middle Stage - 3 Years

 Age 11 to 14: Class 6 to Class 8

4. Secondary Stage - 4 Years 

Age 14 to 18: Class 9 to Class 12

 Fresher's Day Celebration "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." Today freshers day is celebrated in our college. We as a second year's organised this program.  It was nice to be a part of freshers day celebration. I played a game, which was designed for freshers and lost it successfully. Finally welcomed freshers from each department.
